Part 1 of 4: Ghosts rationally explained

Posted by Gmac Webs on February 6, 2013 at 4:40 PM Comments comments (0)

In this 4 part blog, I will spend each one talking about perfectly feasible, reasonable and rational explanations in to some paranormal events

Part 1 of 4: Ghosts rationally explained.

This will tell you about how ghost sightings are nothing more than optical illusions. I will also talk about auditory phenomena and how both of these “unexplainable” event can be fairly easily explained.

“I saw a shadow/apparition over there”. T...

Should homosexuals be allowed to marry and Adopt/have kids?

Posted by Gmac Webs on February 5, 2013 at 10:35 PM Comments comments (0)

This question is a very common one at the moment in UK. This is a question I have 1 immediate answer too. I was, frankly, outraged and appalled to hear some comments people had made on this subject and found some comments made by politicians to be rather homophobic. As always, this is my opinion so please don't claim I am 100% wrong because it is my personal opinion.

One of the earliest reports of homosexuality being considered wrong that I have heard of was with the Ancien...

Skyrim DLC "Hearthfire" coming to PS 3?

Posted by chas1996 on January 6, 2013 at 6:20 PM Comments comments (0)

Is Skyrim’s DLC “Hearthfire” coming to PS3? Skyrim is an amazing game, full of free-choice and adventure. Not hard to imagine why people who own the game give it 95-100% rating. With the addition of “Hearthfire”, it would potentially be even better.

Skyrim’s DLC “Hearthfire” has as yet no new news on whether or not it is coming to PS3, which is annoying most PS3 Skyrim fans. Many people have often said things such as “B...

"Right and Wrong". What do they mean?

Posted by Gmac Webs on January 4, 2013 at 6:40 PM Comments comments (0)

A question that I am sure you all have you own answer to and most of you will have similar answers. It would likely be “right is good and wrong is bad”. But I have found that right and wrong may not really be quite as most of you were thinking. (Just going to warn you now, the next few paragraphs include facts about Adolf Hitler, Genghis Khan and Osama Bin Laden).

When I used to think of right and wrong, I used to think that it was like a rule prewritten in all ...

What I think happens after death

Posted by Gmac Webs on December 23, 2012 at 6:10 PM Comments comments (1)

The answer I will give within these next few paragraphs is one I can guarantee many people will totally disagree with. If you disagree with it, good! It means you have your own opinion. But this is my opinion. I will, as usual, use science and fact to help you to understand my opinion. Bear with me, it is damn-near impossible to explain. I will try my best though.

I have had this idea for many years and I have always been seeking a way to prove it and I never have been able...

Are we as advanced, strong or as smart as we think?

Posted by Gmac Webs on December 23, 2012 at 11:10 AM Comments comments (0)

This is a question most people would argue the case of we in fact are, however, I have been doing some research and I believe that I have found the answer that in fact, we really aren’t. I have been researching this for a long time now and I have reached the conclusion that we may actually not be as advanced, strong or as smart as we think we are.

We humans think we are one of the most advanced, smart and powerful species that has ever walked the Earth. We think this...

The religious timeline and a question for Theists

Posted by Gmac Webs on December 22, 2012 at 9:55 PM Comments comments (3)

In this blog I will answer a question that I have known the answer to for about 2 years. That question was “What is the religious timeline?”. I know that you would probably get a better answer on Google but this answer I came up with whilst trying to getting thorns out of my arm after a bike stunt went wrong (my friends weren’t bothered and I was left to think). I will also explain, briefly why people thought Adam and Eve’s story was true and I will ask Theists a quest...

15 "Unanswerable" questions answered

Posted by Gmac Webs on December 22, 2012 at 5:00 PM Comments comments (0)

I was looking through this site’s Facebook page (Gmac Webs), when I saw 15, supposedly “unanswerable” questions. I then received an E-Mail suggesting I should answer them, so I did. I took up that challenge and had a go at answering them.

Read the questions and try to answer each one as you go along and come up with your answers. It took me about 5 seconds to think of the answers after reading the question, on average. How long will it take you? Time yours...

Are we alone in the universe?

Posted by Gmac Webs on December 21, 2012 at 11:55 AM Comments comments (0)

This is a question many people have argued over the past and one that still remains unknown. There is no signs of life, at least equal to our intelligence, that we have discovered yet, however, it is a long held belief of mine that the chances of us being the only inhabited planet in the universe is far too slim. Here’s why.

First, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that life has multiple definitions. Some people would argue that bacteria isn’t alive...

2 bible stories questioned

Posted by Gmac Webs on December 16, 2012 at 2:55 PM Comments comments (0)

A person sent me a fairly hateful e-mail yesterday (15/12/2012) and he said:

“motherf**ker. y u spreding lies p**syf*g? y u tryin gto kill off god with ur bulls**t? u want the truth? READ THE BIBEL C**T!!1” [sic] (obviously, I have censored it) and I get things like that fairly often when it is clear I am not doing anything like that. But this e-mail made me think. How plausible is most of the stories in the bible and so I went back to 2 years ago when I started to question ...
